On this trip we will experience both kind of transportation between Hanoi and Sapa that are by Limousine bus on the new highway and by a familiar night train. You will be satisfied your walking favorite by trekking through many ethnic villages with beautiful scenery and colorful rice fields. Moreover, you can admire stunning view from Heaven gate and see wonderful waterfall.

DAY 01 Hanoi - Sa Pa By Bus - Trek To Lao Chai – Ta Van (Homestay) (L, D)

07:00 – 7:30 AM: Pick you up at your hotel and depart to Sa Pa, following Noi Bai - Lao Cai high-way. Along the way, you will have chance to admire the beauty of northwest mountains with terraced fields. Have a short break for 30 minutes en route.
We will arrive in Sa Pa at noon time then enjoy lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, you head Muong Hoa valley. You will pass through Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route. You will spend the night in local house of Giay minority. You will be able to take a walk to enjoy the valley view as well as swim in the river nearby.
Approx: 1 hours driving/ 2 hours walking.
Overnight at homestay.

DAY 02 Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan (Hotel) (B, L)

Once you get energy for your last day trek by having a delicious breakfast, you leave for Giang Ta Chai village of Red Dao minority. You will trek through bamboo forest, which belongs to Hoang Lien National Park. On the way you will pass by a waterfall where you will have time to take a rest and enjoy the surroundings. You will find a nice place to enjoy lunch.
After lunch, you continue toward Su Pan, a small village located by the road. Here you start your journey back to Sa Pa by car.
Approx: 1-hour driving/ 3 hours walking/ 1-hour lunch.
Overnight at hotel.

DAY 03 Heave Gate – Silver Water Fall – Optional Fansipan By Cable Car - Night Train To Hanoi (B, L)

Meet your guide and driver for a leisure trip. The drive uphill offers most spectacular scenery of Fansipan Mount. Just a kilometer out of the town, rose flower farms and later chayote grows on bamboo frames covered a vast area. We’ll stop at the magnificent Silver Waterfall before continue the road trip for some kilometers further to Heaven Gate and Tram Ton Pass. At 2047m above sea level, the Heaven Gate & Tram Ton Pass is the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. From here enjoy walking around for half an hour for beautiful scenery of both two side of Hoang Lien Son mountain range. The wind blows stronger to force the clouds moving constantly. It is the best point here to enjoy breathtaking scenery of the two side of Fansipan Mountain Range. Amazingly that the weather is very different by the side: In many days It is foggy and cloudy on Sa Pa side and sunny brightly the other side. Leaving the Heaven Gate for the way back downhill 7 km, then stop to pay visiting to some lush farm in O Quy Ho where different kind of vegetable, flower, fruit trees and even medicinal plants are grown for years which makes this part of Sa Pa ever green.

Optional Fansipan by cable car
The cable car system in Sa Pa is the world’s longest and highest cable car, running up from sleepy Sa Pa Town in Lao Cai Province to the peak of 3,143-meter. Fansipan Mountain, known as Indochina’s rooftop. Reaching Mount Fansipan used to mean a full-day hike at least. But from Feb 2016 the trek up will be reduced to a 25-minute flight by cable car. The 6.5km long cable car can carry a maximum of 2,000 passengers an hour, with each cabin accommodating 35 passengers.
In the late afternoon transfer to the station for a night train to Hanoi. You will take a night train at 21:40 on soft sleeper cabin.
In the late afternoon we will transfer to the train station, you will take a night train back to Hanoi.
Overnight on train.

DAY 04 Hanoi Arrive (no services on this day)

The train arrive in Hanoi at 5:30AM, you will transfer to your hotel or airport by yourself.
